We are now living in the Age of Water. Water is the new “gold”, with individuals, corporations and countries positioning themselves around this precious resource. Water is changing everything. We cover anything of interest from breaking environmental news to evergreen material. This also includes human interest stories, readings of eco-literature, discussion of film and other media productions of interest.
We join Canadian science fiction/fantasy author Kaz LeFave in Toronto, Ontario, where she talks about water and writing about it, the current oceanic dead zones that inspired the premise behind her Nemecene series, the role of literature in raising environmental awareness, and her environmental work with Tides Canada.
February 2020 Episode
Kaz LeFave has a bachelor in Applied Science (engineering) from Queen’s University, a fashion degree from the Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy, certifications in personal training and hypnosis, a US patent in user interface design, an IMDb credit as director, and has written extensively on environmental issues via WomanNotWaiting.com, LifeAsAHuman.com and her philanthropy mission at Aguacene.com.
When she is not scheming the perfect muahahaha moment, you can find her hanging around some four-legged friends. She speaks English, French, Spanish, some Russian, a little German, and shadows of Arabic. She has also just recently surrendered to chocolate’s persistence and to her standard poodle’s tank top thievery.
